Finally find freedom and peace with food.
Disordered eating isn’t truly about the food on your plate;
it’s the emotional weight beneath the surface.
Whether you’re:
• Afraid of weight gain
• Rigidly avoiding “unhealthy” foods
• Trapped in a vicious cycle of under-eating and over-eating
… it’s essential to realize that these challenges point to deeper issues of self-worth and fear. These root-cause issues are what Wake Up and Smell the Rosay aims to address.
From age 13, I began dieting to deal with growing body-image struggles, which eventually transformed into binge-eating.
Physical limitations due to a heart condition intensified my need to control my body size through food restriction, and my disordered eating habits escalated.
With my mother’s cancer diagnosis, I plunged into holistic health solutions, which spiraled into orthorexia.
Thankfully, a liberating exposure to anti-diet beliefs through social media started challenging my previous perceptions, and I took the first steps toward healing.
As I improved my own relationship with food, I realized I had a passion for aiding other women to overcome similar struggles. So, I got my Masters in Psychology and became a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in eating disorder recovery.
I started sharing a key entry point into a healthier food relationship — nourishing breakfast bowls — on Instagram. My content resonated with countless women and ultimately grew into a supportive community of nearly 100,000 members.

As my therapy client roster filled up, I recognized the need to extend my reach and serve the thousands of women I couldn’t serve one-on-one. The CommunEATy was born out of the desire to provide a structured program and a supportive community for women seeking peace with food and with themselves.
That’s when I created the…
